Good morning, OCLC has improved searching for items in WorldShare ILL. I've noticed that better results come up when searching for requested items. In most cases, the less information input into the request is better than more. For this week the focus is on the Title, Author, and ISBN fields: - *Title*: input the Title of the item (add a note in ( ) if there is something you'd like me to see as soon as the request is opened, like an item in a different language, or a large print copy), - *Author*: last name first, first name last (this helps immensely!) - *ISBN*: Not required, but it is helpful, especially for items like manga, graphic novels, CDs, independently published items, etc. Any other info., such as a Publisher, or OCLC #, etc., are not used to search, since the goal is to find the highest number of lenders for the item requested.
